1. How to get to the Conference:

If you arrive by airplane,

  • Rent a car and follow this itinerary:
    From the airport, take highway 20 east.
    Follow the signs towards the Champlain Bridge via highway 15 south.
    Once on the other side of the Champlain Bridge, take highway 10, toward Sherbrooke.
    Continue until exit 78, turn right on Bromont Boulevard.
    Turn right on Champlain Street.
    Turn left on Stanstead Street (90 Stanstead Street).
     
  • Use the limousine service:
    Expect to pay $50.00 to $100.00 or more per person, depending on the number of persons.
     
  • Use public transportation:
    Take local bus from Montreal to Bromont
     

If you arrive by car:

  • Itinerary from highway 10: 
    Take exit 78 from highway 10, turn right on Bromont Boulevard.
    Turn right on Champlain Street.
    Turn left on Stanstead Street (90 Stanstead Street)
     

2. About statutory holidays:

  • May 19th is a statutory holiday in Quebec.
     

3. The weather in May:

  • The weather in the month of May in unpredictable. The scents are pleasurable, the lilacs are in bloom, there may be magnificent sunny days but it may also rain and be windy. Do bring some warm clothing. Nevertheless, don’t forget your bathing suit as we do have access to the indoor pool and the whirlpool baths in the hotel (two whirlpools on the outdoor terrace and one inside next to the pool). The SPA facilities (“Pavillon des Sens”) are also available for $40.00/day or at no additional cost if you have a massage or other treatment.


4. Electric current and Internet access:

  • Everywhere in North America, the electric current is 110 volts (60 cycles). 
    As the plugs are incompatible with European ones, an adaptor is necessary.
  • There is Internet access in every room and several computers are available in public spaces for hotel residents.
